How to Get to Seville

Seville has excellent transport connections that make it easy to reach from Europe and beyond. You can arrive by plane, train, road or even by water. Choose the option that best suits your trip.

By plane

If you fly, you will arrive at Seville Airport (San Pablo), an important European aviation hub. Designed by renowned architect Rafael Moneo, it pays tribute to Andalusia through its characteristic arches and vaults.

The airport offers short-, medium- and long-stay parking and is about 15 minutes from the centre by taxi o car rental car, or around 35 minutes by bus.

By train

Seville pioneered high-speed rail in Spain. Santa Justa station connects with cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Córdoba, Zaragoza and Málaga through AVE and AVANT services.

San Bernardo station serves regional trains towards Cádiz and Málaga, as well as the Cercanías commuter network.

By road

Seville is connected by major motorways:

  • A-49: Huelva and Portugal
  • A-92: Málaga and Granada
  • A-4: Córdoba and Madrid
  • A-66: Extremadura and northern Spain

The SE-30, Ronda Super Norte and SE-40 make travelling around and beyond the city easier. Seville also has parking facilities for visitors.

Both have connections with city buses, the metro and taxis.

By boat

Thanks to the Guadalquivir, Seville is Spain's only inland river port welcoming cruise ships. The cruise terminal is close to the city centre, beside María Luisa Park.

By tour coach

If you are travelling in a group, Seville provides parking areas for tour coaches.
