About Secretos de Sevilla
Secretos de Sevilla is a content project about Seville and its province. We publish visitor guides, walking routes, old photographs, history and legends to help you discover the city and plan your stay. The website is available in Spanish and English.
Who is behind the project?
I am Jorge, the person behind the Secretos de Sevilla website and social media accounts. The project has been active on social media since 2013, as explained in our legal notice in Spanish. On Instagram, you will find us at @secretosdesevilla.
What you will find here
Start with our guide to what to see in Seville. To explore its neighbourhoods, follow our routes through Santa Cruz and Macarena. You can also discover the city’s past in our historic image gallery.
How we review our guides
In reviewed guides, we check practical information against monument websites, public authorities and tourism organisations. When opening hours, entry conditions or other visitor information are checked, we include sources and a review date. That date shows when the information was consulted; it does not guarantee that a price or schedule will remain the same on the day you visit.
Suggested walking and visiting times are editorial estimates: they depend on your pace, stops and bookings. We distinguish legends and traditions from documented facts. A historic image without a known photographer or date is not presented as our own photograph or assumed to be free of copyright.
The website contains articles from different periods, and reviews take place progressively. Before booking or making a special journey, check the organiser’s or venue’s current information.
Affiliate links and bookings
Some links to tours and activities lead to Civitatis and are part of its affiliate programme. If you book through them, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Civitatis handles bookings, customer service, changes and cancellations. Secretos de Sevilla does not organise or operate these tours. Further details appear in our legal notice in Spanish.
