Where to have breakfast in central Seville: toast, churros and brunch

Looking for where to have breakfast in central Seville before sightseeing? Coffee and toast, a sit-down brunch and chocolate with churros are different choices. This selection of four venues helps you choose along your route without crossing the historic centre just for breakfast.

Checked on 11 October 2026. We consulted venue websites and linked sources. These are not reviews based on visits or a ranking. Confirm hours, menu and availability for your date, especially on holidays.

Which breakfast fits your morning

Before the Alcázar or Cathedral: Café Santacruz. Around Las Setas: La Cacharrería for toast or brunch; El Comercio for chocolate with churros. Speciality coffee: Delatribu, with two central venues. These are alternatives, not a route to consume at every stop. Choose one and keep another as backup.

1. Café Santacruz: breakfast before the monuments

Rodrigo Caro, 11. Its official website lists breakfast Monday–Sunday 09:00–12:00. It has a breakfast menu and reservation information. Do not confuse it with Bodega Santa Cruz / Las Columnas.

It fits a morning visiting the Cathedral or Alcázar. If your ticket is early, check you have enough time; we do not promise breakfast and arrival for a timed booking within a fixed interval. Check table or terrace prices and conditions before ordering. View location on Google Maps

2. La Cacharrería: toast and brunch near Las Setas

Regina, 14. The venue website describes breakfasts with house breads and brunches. It lists opening from 09:00 daily but does not separately state a breakfast finish time there. Reservations are offered for brunch and lunch; do not assume you can reserve a simple toast breakfast.

In its menu, Málaga-style bread is listed at €2.50, olive oil at €0.60 and tomato at €0.50: €3.60 for food, excluding drinks. This is an indicative sum of components, not a set breakfast. A brunch has a different composition and budget: compare inclusions before choosing. View location on Google Maps

3. El Comercio: chocolate with churros on Lineros

Lineros, 9. The AlCentro's listing identifies this historic café and its chocolate with churros. An alternative for a sweet breakfast between El Salvador and Las Setas.

AlCentro lists opening Monday–Saturday from 07:30 and closure on Sundays. Its website was inaccessible when this guide was reviewed, so we could not directly confirm the menu or exceptions. We give no current prices and do not equate bar hours with churros service; check before visiting, especially on holidays. For a timed visit, confirm service and waiting times before sitting down. 4. Delatribu: speciality coffee and a sweet breakfast

Pasaje de Andreu, 3, right-hand unit; and Hernando Colón, 5, right-hand unit. Its official website confirms two central locations and speciality coffee. It may suit those prioritising a cup of coffee rather than a full brunch.

The products section presents croissants, chocolate pastries and cakes to accompany coffee. Ask what is available that day and the price before ordering: we found no price list allowing a current bill estimate.

The The contact page lists Monday–Saturday 09:30–17:30 and Sundays 11:00–17:30. As hours are not separated by branch or service, confirm the specific venue for timed visits; Sunday opening is not suitable for a very early breakfast. Pasaje de Andreu map · Hernando Colón map

How to choose without overspending

Check whether a price is for half or whole toast and whether coffee, juice or extras are included. Bread with separately priced ingredients is not a set menu. Ask about terrace prices and avoid budgeting from old menu photographs.

Allergies, plant-based options and timed visits

Gluten-free bread on a menu does not certify absence of cross-contamination. For allergies or coeliac needs, ask the venue directly about ingredients and preparation. Tomato toast should not be assumed vegan without checking bread and additions.

If you have an Alcázar ticket, prioritise arriving with time to spare. Maps show location, not walking times measured by us or verified accessibility. For a later meal, explore where to eat near the Alcázar and Cathedral; to plan the day, use the two-day Seville itinerary.
